KSPCA Shop

We are in the process of upgrading our shop at the KSPCA. We currently have dog & cat food as well as flea control, collars & shampoos.

Our new range of Beadaid Bandit collars & leads as well as fun tee-shirts will be in the shop in the next few month as well as cards, calendars & bio-degradable shampoos for cats & dogs. 

All funds go towards the KSPCA running costs.

  • Visits to slaughterhouses country wide – 15
  • Donkey Clinics in rural areas - Ongoing throughout the year
  • Calls to rescue and treat donkeys around Nairobi area -  8 per week
  • Number of dogs rehomed per month -  45 to 50
  • Number of cats rehomed per month  - 20
  • Average number of dogs in the shelter - 120
  • Average number of cats in the shelter -  50
  • Average number of donkeys in shelter  -  10
  • Average number of dogs neutered – 40 bitches, 10 males
  • Average number of cats neutered  - 25 to 30 females,  20 males
  • Average admission of dogs  - 60 to 80

  • Euthanasia  dogs -   12
  • Euthanasia cats   -     5

NB  Because of the rabies situation all dogs are kept for a minimum of one month’s quarantine unless the vaccination records are known.  Many dogs are booked during this time.

Individual & Corporate Membership

Individual Membership

The best way to help the animals is to become a member of the KSPCA. But for those supporters who are unable to make an ongoing financial commitment, we are able to offer a standard membership.

As a member you will receive:

  • a personalised membership card
  • a copy of our monthly eshot newsletter
  • The knowledge that your membership will greatly assist the running costs of the KSPCA allowing us to continue caring for the animals of kenya
To apply for membership, you'll need to complete the membership application form. Our current membership rates are:
  • Individual Membership 1,000/-
  • Family Membership 1,500/-
  • Junior Membership 500/-

These are the main areas that your membership fee supports:

  • Field work and investigating complaints
  • Veterinary treatment and sterilisation of dogs and cats
  • Maintaining our animal shelters
  • Supporting other KSPCA units
  • Education and promotion of animal welfare.

Corporate Membership

Corporate Sponsorship is one of the many ways that you can help the KSPCA. There are now a variety of options - Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsorship:.

Gold Sponsorship

  • certificate of acknowledgement
  • letter of thanks
  • free advert in four issues of the newsletter, for period of sponsorship
  • Cost: 15,000/- per annum

Silver Sponsorship

  • certificate of acknowledgement
  • letter of thanks
  • six vehicle stickers
  • free advert in one issue of the newsletter
  • Cost: 10,000/- per annum

Bronze Sponsorship

  • certificate of acknowledgement
  • letter of thanks
  • six vehicle stickers

How to join

Apply online

Fill out and submit the online application form. Then, post your cheque to K.S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 24203, Nairobi, 00502 for your membership to become effective.

Apply by fax or mail

Download and print a copy of our membership form. Once complete, post it with your cheque to: K.S.P.C.A., P.O. Box 24203, Nairobi, 00502.

We regret that we cannot accept credit card payments at this time. Please do not send cash payments.
